Fantastic Production
I saw the show debut nite and it was fantastic. I sat in the third row and seeing the actors' expressions from so close was wonderful. All of the cast had exceptional voices, but John Preece as Tevye was beyond fabulous ! He is an amazing stage actor, comedian, dramatist, singer, everything rolled into one. I highly recommend the show to anyone in town this weekend who can get over to the Lyric !Young and old, all races and religions will appreciate this story, but especially the acting and singing !! It was a full house last nite and well deserved.
ASTONISHING PERFORMANCE
I was immediately transformed back in history with the opening act. The performances were amazing; the acting, singing and total performances were perfect. The live orchestra perfect on ques and brought the play line to an astonishing level. This is the best production I have attended in many years. Thank you to everyone, those seen onstage, and those off stage, who made this remarkable tight happen. I did not want the experience to stop!!!!!

Excellent Production, Acting, Staging, Dancing
I've seen the show half a dozen times and this was right up there as one of the best. Top rate. I can't believe the negative reviews, but then, there are always nay-sayers for anything these days. I heartily recommend this production to anyone wanting a few hours of transcendent joy, celebrating life and the perseverance of the Jewish people.
Fiddler on the Roof
There is a well-known saying that arose during the hey-day of vaudeville, “If you can play Scranton, you can play anywhere.†Well, the cast and musicians did just that. They conquered Scranton, PA. I have front row season tickets each year, and the actor's facial expressions were so good, and the singing, and dancing was excellent. So much energy.
